Communications Administrator Jason Gagne began his career in emergency services in 1998 as a fire cadet with the Hudson, NH Fire Department. While attending high school he performed an internship with Hudson Fire, learning every division including the communications center.
Jason went on to college for Fire Science and obtained his certifications in Firefighter I, II, Hazardous Materials, Incident Management, as well as Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician. Throughout his years in the fire service, he rose to the ranks of Heavy Rescue Lieutenant, Fire Lieutenant, and Training Coordinator. He currently volunteers as the EMS Training Coordinator for Westminster Fire & Rescue in Vermont.
Jason started his career in emergency communications in 2006 working for NH E-911 in Concord, New Hampshire, answering 911 calls for the state. He then moved on to the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office in Brentwood, New Hampshire as an Emergency Communications Dispatcher, dispatching Police, Fire, EMS, and Sheriff's.
Aside from managing the Southern Vermont Regional Emergency Communications Center, Jason also created and managed the Middlebury Regional EMS Communications Center in Addison County, Vermont, providing fire & EMS dispatching for the county.
Jason has been in Fire & EMS for over 25 years, and Emergency Communications for over 17 years, and is now a Sheriff's Deputy for Windham County as well.
